I love a dirty mouthed hero, if he’s written well. And oh boy, Colton King written so very well! Now, don’t get me wrong, there are parts of this book that drive me a little crazy -> the party scene, the effusive references to Colton’s appendage, and of course, the obligatory blonde bimbo mentioned in every college romance. So skeezy. But, I love the banter between Cassie and Colton, and their chemistry is out of this world. I even love the banter between the MCs and the secondary characters.
That’s what Sabrina Paige does so well. She writes fun dialogue, and believable characters who exhibit both wit and passion. They aren’t deep, but they’re real. And smexy. And everything you want in a college-age romantic comedy.

Tackled edition by Sabrina Paige Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
The jock and the nerd is a story I've read numerous times before, but there is something about Colton and Cassie that I just absolutely adored. Enough to keep this book on my re-read list. Colt is such a player, and I loved how his feelings for Cassie crept up on him! Their banter was great, the dialogue between the two very witty, and I just love how Cassie refuses to take any of his crap. I've read several of Sabrina Paige's books, and Colton has joined Caulter from Prick as a keeper!
I recently re-read this book and enjoyed it just as much the first time. Colton and Cassie are perfect together. I enjoyed the angst and banter between the two. It made sex scenes that much better. The verbiage wasn't cheesy and predicable as are many plots in this genre. A full novel, a plus nowadays. I have read several of Sabrina Paige's book and this one is by far my fav along with Prince Albert. This review is long overdue, but the bottom-line remains, this book and most of Sabrina's novels are most reads. Highly recommend.
I love reading Sabrina Paige novels! There's always a good deal of laughter to go along with the drama.
Colton King is a sexy football god. Cassie is a sexy nerd with her V-card still in her possession. Let the good times ensue.
This was a great read with lots of laughs, a little bit of angst, and a whole lot of awesome sex scenes. Colton and Cassie had my steaming up. However, I have to say my favorite character in the book was Mama King. I simply adored her. All of the other secondary characters were awesome...except for Dillon. You'll have to read to find out why.
5 Stars!!
Absolutely loved Tackled! Colton is hilarious with his cocky attitude and Cassie is just what he needs to being him down a few pegs!!! DEFINITELY needs to be on your TBR list for 2016!
I read all Paige's Stepbrother books, and enjoy her combination of sweet and sexy. When I saw she had a sports romance, I pounced. As with a lot of NA, the storyline is not super original. Infamous, well endowed playboy meets nerdy, but hot virgin, so the execution is really important. I was not that sold on the story in the beginning. Colt was an epic egotistical cad, and Cassie had that catty I-hate-him thing going on, but as their relationship grew, so did my interest in their story. Their interactions became more interesting, and sometimes very sweet, as Colton and Cassie began to get to know each other better. I liked that Paige actually gave us a reason why this "hot" 23 year old was still a virgin too. I really enjoyed some of the side characters as well. Colton's mom and his roommate, Tank, stole the show every time they appeared.
Another Sabrina Paige book that didn't let me down. I wasn't sure about this one starting out, but boy did I change my mind. Colton is the cocky, hot tight end on the football team that needs a tutor because he is failing and has to pass his classes in order to remain on the team. Cassie is the nerdy, goody two-shoes who is recruited to tutor him against her better judgement, especially after meeting him for the first time buck naked in his backyard at a party. After a lot of pushing and pulling between these two, I was all in. The spice, sexual tension, steam and hilarious banter between Cassie and Colton had me alternating between laughing, fanning myself and squirming in my seat from the heat between these two. I liked the fact that even though she was a virgin, she was not timid by any means. She was also a graduate student (two years older) and sparred a lot with Colton, with funny results. The supporting characters were also funny, especially Colton's mom. All in all, I loved the story and the characters and I should have known I would love it. After all, it's a Sabrina Paige book!
I've been dying to read another AMAZINGLY SEDUCTIVE Sports Romance Novel since reading Bella Andre's, "Game for Seduction," from 6 years ago! Nothing I've read within those years compared to Ms. Andre's novel until NOW! This is the first novel I've read from Ms. Paige and she ABSOLUTELY did NOT DISAPPOINT! I was HOOKED, LINED, & SINKER! I read this novel at every possible opportunity I had which was virtually impossible for my schedule lately. It was in between my son's 5th Birthday Party, during my lunch break at work, and during my childrens other afterschool activities. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS NOVEL WELL BEYOND A 10 STARS RATING!
